vienna philharmonic :)

can't believe our last 'free' holidays are nearly at an end.. today, my family went to the opera house (ceebs capitalising) to watch the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
My mum, sister and I went a little early to get dinner, and our waiter was fckn hot LOL omg I wish I took a picture ): Just imagine a younger brother of Liam, but with a European accent. Teehee :D

Didn't really like this performance (even though it was freaking $$), my mum sister and I legit fell asleep for Mahler's opera piece or whatever >< The repertoire was just boring and typical for me :/ 

I have to say, my favourite experience at SOH has to be Hanna Jang's performance, with a cello concerto and Saint Saen's organ symphony. :D

Tomorrow will be a library day I think, with bits of shopping here and there :P

PS: Yes, my sister is getting her eyebrows waxed HAHAHA the caterpillars run in the family. If you look at mine closely, my left is retarded and my right is normal cos of numerous wax episodes.

vacation with the fambam

got back from a 24hr vacation with my family at central coast, some place called magenta shore. It had a really nice golf course LOL perfect for my dad. We started the day by accidentally waking up late, and hastily grabbing breakfast at Pablo and Rusty's (yum). I basically slept the whole car ride to the place while my sister watched tv shows on the kraptop.
When we arrived, the power of the whole resort was down (LOL) so we had to chill by going on a mini hike/trail and eating at a suburb called "The Entrance" :L

As we started walking, my dad picked up some massive stick to "protect his family from snakes" HAHAHA.

We had lunch at kfc, then went back to our resort, which was pretty awesome.

Then my entire family had a luvo session HAHAHA.

and my dad managed to squeeze in but was too dark for kraptop's webcam.. D:

Then after watching a bit of Transformers 3 with my sister, my dad took us to the golf course, where i drove the buggy YAY and holy crap I am pretty godly at driving that thing :D

My sister and I just took photos the entire time since we had nothing better to do lol.

After a dinner of korean chigae, we ate jatz with camembert cheese, then went to go for a swim/jog at the gym. Pretty awesome gym as well, and i was alone so I could run like a sped without being judged :)

Joined Reena in the pool afterwards, did 100m of medley then rage quit LOL. To think that I used to do 10 of these and still be able to swim more.. :/

Then we went back to the resort, watched a few movies, slept, ate a buffet breakfast then came back home.

Short but sweet :)

mother's birthday!!

mum's birthday today! went out for italian and then came home and had cake!
in the car, we were talking about how my mum's friend's daughter cries when she doesn't do well in an exam - and she asked me if I did the same. To which I reply,
"yeah of course, I've cried over bad results before!!"
Mum: "what, but I've never seen you!!"
Me: "yeah it's not like I cry in front of you.."
Mum: "oh right, so you cry at school?"
Me: (by now i'm irritated) no mum ==
Mum: "OH. I get it! That's why you meet up with boys right? So you can cry on their shoulder and get a hug?"
Me: "LOL NO MUM LEAVE ME ALONE, AISHHHHHHHHHHHH"

(yun, I realised I say aish alot..)

Then I see a box of really pretty (lol my adjectives are super descriptive) flowers! And I ask my mum, "oh did dad get you these!? When?"
Then she tells me how the doorbell rang at around 11am and my dad was standing at the door holding the box of flowers with the widest grin on his face.
LOL CUTE DAD. Points for the surprise present!

Italian for dinner was very good. Haven't eaten that much since Japan LOL ==
