home sweet home :)

So after an exhausting trip back, I'm home! I'm so not used to my keyboard lolol got used to the random Japanese one ==
My ride from Osaka to Gold Coast was business class - and it was quite awesome. Though it doesn't compare with the usual business class (My mum went with Asiana, and she got so much free, expensive stuff LOL I WAS SO JELLY) it still meant I got to slightly lie down, eat yummy food, and drink out of a cup made of glass. Had 2 babies on board and I couldn't sleep, but still managed to sleep for around 3-4 hours (out of around 8!)

Came home and unpacked (not properly, just opened everything) and realised I really did not buy much - where did all my $$ go? ):
Can't wait to see everyone! Apparently I'm disugstingly black according to mother T__T And dad is forcing me to accompany family to mcdonalds performing arts challenge - AND I AM SO CEEBS UGH. Right now, all I want to do is watch harry potter!

Oh and thanks to all of youse who called/texted/tweeted/whatsapped me this morning! :D

Pictures after the break!

I`m coming home, coming home

TELL THE WORLD THAT I`M COMING HOMEEEEEEE technically, today is my last day in Japan!

Though I`ve been wanting to come backf or quite a while now, it actualy sunk in that I`m going back... AND IT KINDA SUCKS BALLS! D:

So when it sunk in that I would no longer be able to go explore the exotic streets of Osaka (hehe) I went out and started actually buying things - the past week or so, I`d only been window shopping to save $$ since I`m a good gurl. But then my mum called and told me to buy a bunch of stuff (such as lunchboxes) and I happily obliged :)

There is such a significant difference between shopping with the knowledge you`re not buying anything, and shopping with cash that you are willing to spend. There was a different sort of bounce in my step today :D Oh and I bought a shirt for $4 and I actually like it. Wow, right? :D
And I apologise in advance cos I didn`t but souvenirs for everyone, I just bought lots of lollies. I am pretty sure I have enough of lollies though.. I hope so.. :/

I cannot wait to get back and have a phone to hold. Seriously, I miss my phone. )`: And I can`t wait to be COLD. Actually, no I hate being cold. Just not being absolutely boiling sounds gut!

Ate okonomiyaki for dinner with girl cousin and her bf couldnt make it ARGH I wanted to see what he looked like! ): but oh well, it was very yummy - I`m gonna miss the food here. So badly. D:

too many naked people..

so just came back from an onsen - for those of you who don`t know what that is, its basically `hot springs`. Imagine like, 20 bathtubs all of different sorts, and of course a lot bigger, and at higher temperatures.

Okay from here on may be tmi... Just warning ya`.

kaimono (shopping)

okay here we go, blog post YAY!
so I`ve been out and about after a day of recuperating after universal studios! Sitting at starbucks sipping on a green tea frap by myself made me realise just how lonely I was - and holy crap this keyboard is so gay it keeps missing out letters: excuse the terible spelling!

I`ve been here for a week now, and here is my opinion so far:

I RIKE:
- everybody here is so friendly! (especially compared to Korea) - koreans have this permanent kinda bitchy, kinda cocky expression LOL
- the shopping: so big, so much, so amazing..
- how everything is within walkable distance: I can go out easily, unlike Sydney where you have to trek halfway around the world and back just to get to places...
- the food omnomnomnom
- the automatic flush toilets? LOL

DISLIKE:
-how conservative people are! I mean, most girls here have amazing legs, but they hide them with leggings. And when I go out with shorts and no leggings, I`m given death glares... ==
- the exchange rate with Aust HAHAHAHAHA
- the humidity of this place ugh
- the lack of wifi
- the traffic lights for pedestrians (I just dont get it - nearly been run over afew times)
- the fact that you cannot evade fares on the subway UGH. I tried buying a child ticket (child = primary school only) and was like `HA! Got you, Japanese subway people, it doesnt even SAY child on the ticket muahhhhaha`. I shove my ticket into the machine and it fking CHIRPS. it TWEETS. WTF LOL.

But the likes definitely cancels out the dislikes!!

Today I went stationery shopping in a dept store called `LOFT` - 3 levels of stationery, makeup, jewellery, lunchboxes ahhhh. I spent around 2-3 hours in there :L Then I went to Starbucks and FINALLY started doing some Jap work! :L

You know what, I`m kinda ceebs to recount my day cos it was actually just shopping :L But here are some photos of my purchases yesterday!

people death glare me for this amount of leg... and no shoes in Japanese changing rooms!!! (this was at topshop ehehehe) - the random hugeass tissuebox is a box with disposable face covers :P

these 2 buildings are just 2 of Umeda`s million shopping centres.. IDC if its blurry, its fkn huge!

cheap (but technically still expensive) rings - the orange one is so big! perfect fit when I tried it on but apparently thas cos it was attached/tied to the thingo...

just 2 bags - be proud of me :)

my babies. LOL massive splurge ):

I dont have a mirror in my room LOL - have to make do with the door... and *sigh you could see the blouse so much better on the iPod...

epitome of teribble tanning.. Lol FML ALKSJFALSFJ ):

have a luvo. LOL - this is after my cousin caked `Japanese style makeup` on me
You can`t really tell cos of the yellow lighting BUT my cheeks were bright pink *cringe

Can`t wait to get back!

Namba - Japan

Hopefully this is a more substantial, entertaining post than the last!
Today was my first day out by myself in Japan, exploring and wandering around and not getting lost! Japanese people give me the biggest dirties.. I think its cos my shorts are too short.. Theyre normal in Aust, but here, maybe theyre considered sluzza!
I feel obese here in Japan, the girls are stick thin. I think everyone has legs like Lauras LOL. And on top of that, my stomach (which I had worked hard to shrink before Japan) is slowly expanding as my aunt piles on the food (its rude to reject so ofc I eat it.. Lol..) but yeh its definitely expanded cos I meal I could not finish before, I can quite easily finish now.. Looks like when I get back to Aust, my diet will consist of apples and coffee again LOL ):

I need to get changed for dinner now, so have some pictures!

the delicious approx $7 ramen :)

LOL this fadget is a head shorter than me, and was on the train playing the air guitar.. NO JOKE (the white tracksuit guy). note its like 33degrees and hes wearing that (printed tigers on it ooft what a hk) and my guy cousin who is dieting, but eats 3 bowls of rice is the one with the hat and navy shirt :)

yeah I dont even know what he fuck that is LOL but trust he Japanes..

at h&m they gave me this funky thingo, which aparently is a `face cover` so that I dont get makeup on the clothes LOL (not that I was waering makeup since I embrace natural beauty TROLOLOL KIDDING).

Oh, I really should be geting changed right now - but I have to add! Some pedo hit on me today.. Well actually Im probably overreacting, but this random comes up to me and says a bunch of SHIT in Japanese, and gives me a pedo smile. Like, fkn creepy pedo smile that says `Im horny as balls I need to get laid but have no $$$ for a prostitute`.
I ran away, unharmed. LOL.

That`s it for now - namaste bitches and have fun at the dance tomorrow night! I think my guy cousin is taking me to universal studos LOL he doesnt know that I cant go on rides for shit

kinda ceebs with proper post

yes, incredibly ceebs with a proper post with the picture of the day. (it was some funky jap guy - will upload later).

today my guy cousin took me to namba (which is the southern shopping area of Osaka) - today the heat was once again stifling, but with WIND.
perfect day to wear a skirt, right? (the floral one I always wear).  I am very smat.
SIGH. You can stop reading here if my flashing stories are tmi. LOL

So  I decided not to wear bike shorts because I was wearing a black leotard anyway, and it was SO HOT! It got to a point where even though I was holding unto my skirt, it somehow blew up.. And you know what? I`m in JAPAN, noone knows me, so when I flashed, inside of dying of embarrassment and hiding, I just swore and kept walking. No shame? I think not.
I mean, they`re never gonna see me again.. Fuck. LOL

I also walked to the chemist and asked the lady where the cleansers were.. Then I spent like 15 minutes trying to read the kanji to find out which of the bottles/tubes were ACTUALLY cleansers and not funky shiz like makeup removers.. So I asked a nice lady which were actually teh cleansers, and bought it. Was worried my Jap was effed and it was cream or some shiz, but it was cleanser. Very proud of my Jap skills. :)

Bought my sister cases for her iTouch, watched xmen (I realy liked it.. hehehe)

what did I wanted to get but managed to resist before Japan!! D:

first day in Japan

First day of Japan and I`ve already made a fool of myself (a couple of hundred times) of course!

I was desperately hoping for some hotties on the plane, but sadly I was met with none. I mean seriously, I`m only going to be seeing ugleh short guys for 2 and a half weeks.. You need some form of eye candy HAHAHAHA. Kidddingggggggggg - but a hot guy on the plane is every girl`s dream.. :L
Instead, I had this really nice Japanese woman next to me who helped me fill in my forms (my uncle`s address had too much kanji I couldn`t read) and also paid for my water since I nly had a 100 dollar note (I paid her back!)

Haven`t really experienced much yet, my girl cousin (22/3?) just left for work, my guy cousin (26) and aunt (she`s such a milf) went out for golf lessons, and my uncle is at a wedding.. They should be taking me out soon LOL. But their house is amazing. Note that it`s a house - most Japanese people live in apartments cos the land price is so expensive (think about the population vs land here!). And it`s amazing.. Everything is so technological that I swear I keep breaking things..

The shower itself is a ROOM - it`s not big, but it`s an entire, blocked of space dedicated to showers. What he awesome.. The toilet is automatic flush. So I Get up toflush, and it just flushes by itself.. WOAH step back! I nearly broke the fridge today by yanking it open, when you just press a button which opens the door.

My guy cousin lent me his room cos he said I wouldn`t be used to sleeping on tatami mats (aw how nice)  and his room had these extra buttons right? they were up, stop, down buttons - and I could hear a whirring noise when I pressed them but I had no idea what they did.. Turns out some blind thingo comes down.. like, think of a garage door (automatic) - like that, but for his window and door to verandah. Am I the only one who finds that awesome? :L

This is a picture from the train station - they have carriages with women only because that`s just how pedo the guys are... LOL.

Will hopefully be blogging daily about my Japanese adventures! So watch this space.

OHOH and btw, thanks to the babes who wrote me plane letters hehe they were all wonderfully entertaining to read/look at. I must mention that Annie even gave me a BOAT to use if my plane crashed HAHAHA burst out laughing :) Love you allllll

namaste bitches (can`t wait till new season of 90210)

PS: I must add - I`VE BEEN TRYING SAUCES AHHHHHHHHH. Cos it would be sooo rude of me to reject any food given to me, I`ve had to eat it - and Japanese cuisine is based on sauce T__T. my breakfast today had tomato sauce in it. afdjl;fdjksdf But I ate it. And it was manageable YAY. But my aunt told me that japanese tomato sauce is a lot nicer than korea/america/australias..
I`m very proud of myself :D
